FRONTIER LEAGUE ALLSTAR MANAGER JOINS FALL STAFF

Great Falls, SC – Super Independent Baseball has announced that current River City Rascals’ Field Manager Chad Parker will participate in the 2009 SIB Fall League. Parker, an All-star Manager in the Frontier League this season, is in his first year of managing the Rascals.

“Chad is a great addition to the Fall League baseball staff,” said SIB President Jamie Toole. “Chad has proven his ability to scout and sign talented players and this is evident by the Rascals first half performance this season in the Frontier League standings. Having the opportunity to work with Chad will be a great benefit to our 2009 Fall League Players.”

"I am always looking for talented players that are hungry to play the game. It's always better to see and spend time with players to get a better grasp of their talents,” said Parker. “The SIB Fall League will provide a great opportunity for both players and coaches."

The Fall League will consist of a player combine, a player draft, an 18 game regular season, and a college World Series style playoff. Managers for the fall league will include current independent professional baseball managers, pitching coaches, and hitting instructors as well as current MLB associate scouts. For more information on the Fall League, please visit www.superindybaseball.com/fallleague or contact the SIB baseball operations department at players@superindybaseball.com
