Joliet, IL – Super Independent Baseball has announced that the first annual Super will be held at Silver Cross Field in Joliet, Illinois. The event will begin September 20th, 2009 and run through October 11th, 2009.
“Silver Cross Field is a magnificent facility and we are pleased to have the opportunity to host the SIB Fall League at a venue of this caliber,” said SIB President Jamie Toole. “I think our players are really going to be pleased participating in league play at one of the marquee minor league baseball facilities in the country.”
The Fall League will consist of a player combine, a player draft, an 18 game regular season, and a college World Series style playoff. For more information on the Fall League, please contact the SIB baseball operations department at players@superindybaseball.com
