River County Named "Official Artist of SIB"

NASHVILLE, TN—May 26, 2009— Super Independent Baseball (SIB) and HOLLEY•GUIDRY Marketing and Event Management are pleased to announce River County as the “Official Artist of Super Independent Baseball” for the 2009 season. Effective immediately River County’s image and the “Rockin’ The Country” single, the title cut from the group’s new CD, will be included in SIB marketing and new media awareness campaigns as the league’s official theme song. There will be a new artist named annually for SIB’s marketing campaigns and music events. River County will have a musical presence at all league games for the 2009 season, including stadium play of the single, announcements, banners and signage, and stadium concert performances in key league markets. In addition to e-blasts and visibility on the league’s website and social networking sites with “click-through” options for visiting River County’s website, the relationship will also include a merchandise agreement that provides a River County merchandise kiosk at league games and merchandise purchase options on the league’s website. SIB will be included on River County’s website and social networking sites as well with “click through” options.
“Super Independent Baseball is thrilled to name River County as the league’s official artist for the 2009 season,” says Jamie Toole, Super Independent Baseball’s founder. “I took a personal liking to their song ‘Rockin’ The Country.’ It’s driving, it’s exciting, and it represents exactly what we’re doing with Super Independent Baseball…Rockin’ The Country!”
HOLLEY•GUIDRY recently joined forces with SIB to produce a series of concerts and special music events in association with the organization’s baseball games and league marketing summits across the United States. The first music event in the series is tentatively scheduled for the Chicago market. The 2009 and 2010 concert events will be announced upon confirmation. Randy Guidry is Executive Producer of the music and entertainment event packages.
HOLLEY•GUIDRY will support the organization and events with strategic awareness, marketing and alliances. SIB is a nationwide professional baseball organization helping communities throughout the United States to "Bring Professional Baseball Home.” The organization is the avenue for marrying professional baseball clubs to the people in communities that have lost their professional team to another community, have never hosted a professional baseball club, or cannot host professional baseball based on Major League Baseball and Minor League Baseball regulations on territorial rights. There are eight SIB divisions across the United States.
